First off, I really liked the environment created by your game. The landscape with the distant mountains and the forrest are beautiful and evoke a scene from an eastern european medieval setting (the parallax scrolling contributes alot). In fact I think that the setting, along with the creepy flock of crows, and overall "dark" theme are what drew me in to the game immediately. I applaud you on that. But I must say, that the game falls somewhat short on the actual gameplay (and I know that this game is just an experiment...of sorts). The controls are simple enough, and the movement of the bird with the controls is actually kind of fun, as you have to somewhat calculate where the bird will land. But the brevity of the game is somewhat of a detractor for me. Since the environment and characters are so alluring, and I am already commited to them, I would expect more to happen. For example, as you scroll left or right, the setting could change, or there could be more obstacles, or in general something different, maybe a new type of tree or different colored grass. In general...maybe what I am desiring to see is more variety? Maybe seasons, like winter spring summer and fall... idk just thinking out loud here.
I like that the wolves can eat the birds and the cadavers but I don't like that the birds can not attack the wolves. Maybe it would be nice if the birds could perch on a tree and wait for the wolves to pass? Idk, just more of my thoughts. But for the most part, I like the game experience and I like what you came up with.
